Our Camp Manager, Abby Carter, a passionate nature advocate, leads the way in creating unforgettable experiences for every camper.  Abby brings a wealth of knowledge being in her final year of a concurrent Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Science (Biology & Environmental Studies) degree from Queens University.  Her latest placement was at the Rowan Tree Children's School in Peterborough, and she is looking forward to joining us for the 2026 summer camp season.

With over 25 years of teaching, tutoring, kids cooking classes, and mentoring experience right here in the Fergus area, Ange Billings is a local legend to many kids. Her passion for working with children and creating fun and engaging experiences extends well into the community through her support on the board of directors at Big Brothers & Big Sisters, as well as managing the food and friends program at James McQueen public school.

Ange consistently keeps family at the heart of everything she does, which shines through in the supportive, and inclusive environments she creates during her classes or face painting events. We are thrilled to have Ange as part of the Belwood Forest Camp team and she is looking forward to spending the summer exploring, learning, and making unforgettable memories with the kids.  

With over 20 years of experience working with children, Theresa loves creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment where kids can play, explore, and be themselves. She enjoys organizing and leading outdoor activities that keep children active, engaged, and working together. Her goal is to ensure that every child feels included, supported, and excited to be part of the camp community while building confidence and making great summer memories.

Parents can feel confident knowing their child is in a caring and well-organized environment where safety, encouragement, and fun always come first.
